Dates, price and how to join
The Refresher currently takes place in Portugal. We have scheduled dates, however if you
have someone else to come over with you, we can also look at specific dates for the two or
three of you to come together.
The Refresher course costs £1700 / 1845€ and this fee includes the course, accommodation from Sunday to Thursday (4 nights) and all meals.

Dr. Ana Mafalda Dordio MRCVS DVM CertAVP
Your Course Tutor
You've probably met her before, but if not, here's what you need to know about your tutor! Dr. Ana has been teaching with us since 2024 and has received nothing but praise from the attendees!
Ana earned her veterinary degree from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Lisbon, Portugal, an EAEVE-accredited University.
International Exposure: Ana gained practical insights through externships and internships at prestigious veterinary hospitals affiliated with the University of Bristol and the Royal Veterinary College.
Rotating Internship Expertise: Ana furthered her skills with a rotating internship at Davies Veterinary Specialists.
Focus on Abdominal Ultrasound: Ana is passionate about abdominal ultrasound, having completed training at ESAVS (European School for Advanced Veterinary Studies).
Advanced Diagnostic Imaging Studies: Ana holds a postgraduate degree in Imaging Diagnosis from the University of Liverpool.
She currently works in the UK doing night shifts, as well as day shifts focusing just on ultrasound.
